Company Intelligence API

Tenant intelligence as an endpoint.

A REST API for platforms that need to embed tenant risk intelligence directly inside their product. Request a company, get the latest composite score, dimension breakdown, score history, and industry peer benchmarks — same underlying data as the Tenant Risk Index, delivered as JSON.

The Company Intelligence API is a bearer-key-authenticated REST service from CRELYTIC iQ Intel, hosted at api.iqintel.crelytic.ai. It returns latest composite scores, four-dimension sub-scores, trailing 8-quarter history, and NAICS peer benchmarks for any covered commercial tenant. Published OpenAPI 3.1 spec, TypeScript + Python SDKs at launch, 1,000 requests/hour per key.

Designed for proptech platforms, underwriting tools, and credit teams automating diligence. Pay-as-you-go from $0.50 per lookup, or monthly bundles for predictable spend. Enterprise contracts for high-volume partners launching Q4 2026.

What the API exposes

A focused surface area: one core lookup endpoint plus support for history and peer benchmarks. Clean JSON, stable versioning, OpenAPI 3.1 spec.

Latest snapshot

Composite score plus a confidence tier. A single call returns the current risk posture of any company with sufficient coverage.

Dimension breakdown

Financial, operational, litigation, and market-position sub-scores with drivers. Show users why the composite moved, not just that it did.

Score history

Trailing 8 quarters of composite and dimension scores. Plot trend lines inside your product without maintaining the underlying time series.

Industry peer benchmarks

p25 / median / p75 for the company's NAICS peer set. Position any tenant against its industry in one call.

OpenAPI 3.1 spec

Typed SDKs for TypeScript and Python at launch. Spec published publicly so you can generate clients in any language.

Audit-safe governance

Every response carries provenance metadata: sample size, methodology version, min-N compliance. Designed for your compliance team from day one.

Who the API is for

Teams shipping real workflows on top of tenant intelligence — not dashboards about it.

Proptech platforms

Embed a tenant risk score in your leasing, asset management, or CRM product. Ship it in weeks, not quarters. No need to build out a research or data team.

Underwriting automation

Call the API during loan intake, lease application, or renewal workflows. Combine the composite + dimensions with your internal rules engine to flag files for senior review.

Credit + portfolio teams

Run your entire tenant roster against the API on a schedule. Feed the output into your portfolio monitoring stack alongside internal signals.

Frequently asked questions

When does the API launch?

General availability is targeted for Q4 2026. Waitlist members get access to the private beta in advance, plus early-access pricing locked for the life of the account.

How does pricing work?

Pay-as-you-go starts at $0.50 per company lookup. Monthly bundles start at $499/mo for 2,000 lookups with volume tiers above that. Enterprise contracts are available for partners embedding the API at scale. See the pricing page for the latest figures.

What about rate limits and SLA?

Standard plans include per-second and daily rate limits appropriate for interactive use. Enterprise contracts include negotiated SLA on availability, latency, and support response. Full details will be published with the OpenAPI spec at beta launch.

What coverage should I expect?

Coverage is strongest for U.S.-domiciled commercial tenants active in industries with meaningful TenantIQ research volume. Every response carries a confidence tier and sample metadata so you can decide how to handle low-coverage lookups in your own workflow.

Is this the same data as TRI?

Yes. TRI exposes aggregated industry-level views of the same underlying TenantIQ research events. The API exposes company-level snapshots plus peer context. Both are governed by the same methodology and min-N framework.
